This Privacy Policy, Internet Advertising and Cookies document describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit maskulo.com (the "Site") or make a purchase there.

Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. Shopify provides us with an online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
Your information is stored via Shopify's data stores, databases and general Shopify application. You store your information on a secure server behind a firewall.

Payment

If you choose a direct payment method to make your purchase, Shopify stores your credit card information. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as necessary to complete your purchase transaction. Information is deleted after the purchase transaction is completed.
All direct payment gateways meet the standards set by PCI-DSS as those managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.
PCI DSS requirements ensure that credit card information is handled securely by our store and its service providers.

External payment service providers

In the context of the performance of contracts, we use the payment service providers on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO. Otherwise, we use external payment service providers on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. DSGVO to offer our users effective and secure payment options.
The data processed by the payment service providers includes inventory data, such as name and address, bank data, such as account or credit card numbers, passwords, TANs and checksums, as well as contract, sum and recipient-related data. These details are required to carry out the transactions. However, the data entered is only processed by the payment service providers and stored by them. This means that we do not receive any account or credit card-related information, but only information with confirmation or negative information about the payment. Under certain circumstances, the payment service providers may transmit the data to credit agencies. The purpose of this transmission is to check identity and creditworthiness. In this regard we refer to the general terms and conditions and data protection information of the payment service providers.
The terms and conditions and data protection information of the respective payment service providers apply to the payment transactions, which can be accessed within the respective websites or transaction applications. We also refer to these for further information and the assertion of rights of revocation, information and other rights of affected persons.

Disclosure of your personal information

We share your personal information with third parties to use your personal information as described above.
